Async by default

I work best asynchronously. Write it down — a message, a doc, a comment on the ticket — and I’ll answer it in one of a few batches through the day. Writing gives us both time to think, leaves a record the next person can find, and nobody’s train of thought gets broken halfway through a task. It also leaves room for my work routine.

Real-time still has its place: a conversation where tone matters, a disagreement, or a knot three messages haven’t untangled. For those, let’s talk — booked, with a line on what it’s about.
