Volunteered at Relay for Life

I just got back from Penang Hospice Society after helping them move equipment into lorries before their Relay For Life event later in the afternoon which they’ve been working on for months. That was a good morning workout and as always, it feels good to do some good.
It was also the least I could do since I had to repeatedly turn down offers to help out with the preparations there over the past few months because I had to focus on bazaar.

By the way, I just found out that Relay For Life is the signature event for cancer societies around the world.

I’m not going back to help them out later though because I had a nasty cut on my scalp. I bumped my head on a table corner in the morning seconds after waking up resulting in a literally bloody mess and left me feeling a bit lightheaded minutes after. It’s at least better than getting it in the eye!
